Our humble beginnings start in Chicago in 2007 where we provided interpretation support for visiting US-Embassy led trade missions from West and Central Africa to the United States.  Through our interactions with visiting government and private sector entities, we realized that there was a pressing need for structured interpretation services in West and Central Africa. We decided to fill the void and the M1 Congress idea was born.

Today, M1 Congress has grown to include interpretation services, simultaneous interpretation, PA equipment rental, equipment sales, document translation, canopy rentals and tour guide services.  By leveraging technology, our translators can serve clients anywhere in the world at a low cost.  M1 is the only interpretation services company that has industry standard booths and a branded line of interpretation equipment in West and Central Africa.

M1 is now the most complete interpretation equipment company in most of the markets we serve in West Africa, Central Africa and beyond.
