M1 Congress Supports NEPAD Conference
The Prime Minister of Cameroon, His Excellency Philemon Yang, opened the second forum for African Development organized by NEPAD in Yaounde, Cameroon, on September. NEPAD is an African Union development agency that facilitates and coordinates continent-wide programs and projects. The three-day event started on September 8 and was attended by over 300 participants. M1 Congress was the interpretation and translation vendor for the event.
M1 faced some unique challenges during the event. On September 9, M1 Congress was required to support 4 concurrent breakout sessions after the morning plenary, without barely any time allocated for transforming the plenary hall into two breakout rooms. M1 Congress used 4 teams to implement a carefully choreographed plan to deliver a stellar performance. The meeting was a success and M1 Congress continues to collaborate with NEPAD on new projects.
